Bungie and EA Unveil Destiny 2 Mass Effect Crossover Event Set for February 13
In an exciting gaming collaboration, Bungie and Electronic Arts (EA) have revealed a crossover event between Destiny 2 and the iconic Mass Effect series. The event, scheduled for February 13, invites players to immerse themselves in the Mass Effect universe by joining the crew of the Normandy and adorning their guardians with exclusive Mass Effect armor and in-game items.
The highlight of the collaboration is the "Normandy Crew Bundle," available at the in-game Eververse store. This bundle features a Commander Shepard-inspired N7 armor set for Titans, a Garrus-inspired Vakarian set for Hunters, and a Liara-inspired Shadow Broker set for Warlocks. To celebrate the partnership, all players will have access to the Alliance Requisitions Bundle, offering the Enhanced Defense Ghost Shell, Alliance Scout Frigate ship, and Alliance Drop Ship Sparrow at no cost. Additional items such as the Omni Strike finisher and Flux Dance emote can be obtained with Silver.
Beyond the crossover event, Destiny 2 introduces "Raven's Wishes" weekly quests from January 30 to March 12, providing players with tokens to earn Last Wish raid Deepsight weapons, Exotic gear from the Lightfall year, or Ascendant crafting materials. The Lightfall celebration event, running from January 30 to June 3, offers players the chance to purchase a Moments of Triumph t-shirt from the Bungie Store by completing past raids and dungeons.
In the press release, Bungie also teased upcoming content releases, including the return of the Guardian Games in March, the Destiny 2: Into the Light content update in April, and the much-anticipated major story expansion, Destiny 2: The Final Shape, set to launch on June 4 after a delay in November.
