Netflix Games Set to Launch Trio of Grand Theft Auto Titles in December

Netflix Games has announced the upcoming release of "Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition" for mobile platforms, catering to fans eagerly awaiting Grand Theft Auto VI. The remastered trilogy, comprising Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, is set to hit the App Store, Google Play, and Netflix's mobile app on December 14. Notably, the mobile versions are optimized for seamless gameplay.

Netflix subscribers will be treated to the three iconic titles without encountering ads, in-app purchases, or additional fees. Pre-registration options are available for subscribers keen on securing early access to the games.

As anticipation builds for the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series, with Rockstar Games promising a trailer release in early December, Netflix Games is strategically expanding its gaming offerings. Despite a gradual growth in its gaming platform since its 2021 debut, less than 1% of Netflix's vast subscriber base of 221 million engages in daily gaming on Netflix Games.

The console version of the game pack has already proven successful, with Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar, reporting sales exceeding 10 million for the remastered GTA trilogy on consoles. The latest mobile edition, boasting enhanced graphics and gameplay upgrades from its 2021 release, is poised to further captivate audiences and contribute to Netflix Games' ongoing efforts to attract new users to its gaming service.
