Dead Island 2 goes gold and is being released a week early

Dead Island 2, the highly anticipated, zombie filled action role-playing game, is set to release on the 21st of April, a week earlier than what was initially scheduled. This news has been met with excitement by fans of the Dead Island franchise, who have been eagerly awaiting the release of the game for almost 9 years since the release of Dead Island 1. The dev announced the news via twitter saying that the early release was to celebrate the game going gold, meaning that it is finished and is ready to be released.
