Helldivers 2 Gets Mech Reinforcements Soon

Developer Arrowhead has confirmed that the highly anticipated mechs are arriving in Helldivers 2 "soon." The announcement came through a tweet showcasing the EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit, a powerful mech equipped with a minigun and missile launcher.

These mechs, previously leaked through gameplay footage, will be deployable via dropship and feature an open cockpit allowing players to enter and exit. Their apparent strength hints at limited use or potential balance adjustments to compensate for their presence.

Helldivers 2 has been a surprise hit since its February launch, topping Steam charts and reportedly selling millions of copies. The game continues to evolve, with a recent strategy involving a new "hug" tactic, and an upcoming major patch promising balance changes.
