Hi-Fi Rush gets 10/10 Steam rating and is the highest-scoring Xbox exclusive in the past year

Hi-Fi Rush, the new game developed by Tango Gameworks, has taken the gaming industry by storm since its launch. With a 90 on OpenCritic, an 89 on Metacritic, and a 10/10 rating on Steam, Hi-Fi Rush has quickly become one of the hottest games of 2023 so far.

Tango Gameworks, known for its horror games, surprised fans with the release of Hi-Fi Rush, a fast-paced rhythm action game that has received praise from both fans and critics alike. In an interview with IGN, Tango Gameworks Director John Johanas explained how it was important for them to just show that we can do something more than horror and do it well.

“I kind of wrote up this very quick pitch about this idea about how good it feels in trailers and movies when hits land to the beat and it just feels like the action just feels so much more satisfying. What if we can do that in an action game? And then, just the idea of rhythm action — and everything is synced to the music, but it's not a rhythm game — led to a spark in the meeting”.
