Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 leaks suggest Zombies, original MW2 multiplayer maps, and more
As the anticipated November 10 release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 approaches, a flurry of leaks has gamers buzzing with excitement. Notably, a reputable leaker known as BobNetworkUK shared insights that hint at thrilling gameplay enhancements.
The classic minimap, absent in recent titles, might make a comeback as an "Unknown Caller" phone number setup by Activision teased its return. Leaks also suggest that all launch maps will be remastered versions of 2009's Modern Warfare 2 favorites like Afghan, Rust, and Scrapyard.
Map voting, a fan-favorite feature, is reportedly returning, allowing players to influence the next match's map choice. In terms of gameplay mechanics, character health could increase from 100 to 150, affecting time-to-kill dynamics. Movement perks, including Stalker, and Tactical Sprint improvements, indicate a focus on faster, dynamic gameplay.
Perks are rumored to transform into a Gear system, with movement perks linked to boots, Scavenger to gloves, and a "Gunner Vest" enabling dual primary weapons at the cost of tactical and lethal gear.
A significant reveal is the return of Zombies mode, offering an open-world variant similar to Black Ops Cold War's Outbreak mode. Activision confirmed the inclusion, boasting it as the "largest Zombies offering to date."
