Tattoo Artist is inking all original Pokémon to raise funds for animal welfare

Tattoo artist William Langford from Stowmarket, England, has embarked on a unique challenge to ink all 151 original Pokémon, inspired by Ash Ketchum's departure from the Pokémon anime series. Langford plans to donate the proceeds to the Blue Cross animal welfare charity. He aims to raise £4,000 for the charity through this project.

Langford, who has been tattooing for over a decade, decided to use his art to help people and animals in need. Langford has already tattooed eight of the original 151 Pokémon, including Pikachu, Snorlax, Mew, Slowbro, and Bulbasaur. He has posted pictures of the completed tattoos on his Instagram page (@william_tattoos).

Fans of the games and anime are certainly feeling melancholy about the departure of Ash Ketchum, however the upcoming Pokémon series in 2023 will feature new dual protagonists named Liko and Roy. The show will also include the three starter Pokémon from the Paldea region's Scarlet and Violet, namely Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. The new series will follow the conclusion of the current anime, Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series, which will see Ash and Pikachu bid farewell to fans.
