Call of Duty Trailer Reveals Warzone 2, Modern Warfare 2 Gameplay

Call of Duty Next live stream started with a very exciting trailer that showcases both Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

Starting things off with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, which showed a variety of the maps that players will be able to battle it out in during the beta and at launch. It also showcased some really cool new features that players will get to use in this game, like aquatic gameplay, as well as some new and old weapons and gadgets they will have access to. An older favourite gadget the heartbeat sensor is making a return, and more not so loved ability the juggernaut suit is also back.

Call of Duty fans can spot new game modes that will be featured in the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer in the trailer. This includes Prisoner Rescue, where one team has to save a hostage and the other team has to stop them. You will be able to try out these new game modes in the beta which will be out for Playstation from the 17th of Spetember for 2 day and PC users will get their chance from the 24th of September.

About half way through the trailer Warzone 2 battle royale experience is the focus. You can see a typical start for the Battle Royale with soldiers jumping out of a plane onto the Warzone 2 map. Which then features a variety of vehicular combat, which includes jeeps, helicopters, and boats. But don’t fear it does look like you can equip yourself with plenty of ways to bring down these vehicles, including an explosive drone and an EMP knife.

A few highlight features to characters movement as well with players being able to hang of the side of building and still use their gun, also bit more of a realistic take on swapping between a sniper and a pistol in 0.5 seconds, when you bring your pistol out you can see the sniper in the off hand whilst shooting.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 reveal trailer ended with a new look at Gunsmith 2. The popular Gunsmith weapon customization feature is making a big comeback with players able to fully customize their weapons. Gunsmith has even more options this time around!
