Release Date and Trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel, Tears of the Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released on the Nintendo Switch back in 2017 and immediately became a highlight of the series breaking Nintendo sales records and winning various awards including Game of the Year 2017.

Recently Nintendo announced the official release date of the upcoming Breath of the Wild sequel - Tears of the Kingdom coming on the 12th of May 2023. A new trailer for the game was also released showing beautiful glimpses of Hyrule in which players will continue to explore as well as incorporating the skies above. 

Here’s the description from Nintendo:

“The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: In addition to the vast lands of Hyrule, the latest entry in the storied Legend of Zelda series will take you up into the skies and an expanded world that goes beyond that! Look forward to Link’s massive adventure starting again when The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, drops for Nintendo Switch on May 12, 2023.”
