Ratchet & Clank finally comes to PC after 2 decades with an enhanced edition of Rift Apart

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is making its PC debut on July 26th, marking the first time the popular franchise has ventured into the realm of PC gaming. Developed by Nixxes Software in collaboration with Insomniac Games, the PC version aims to deliver an awe-inspiring visual experience while offering an array of performance-enhancing features.

Rift Apart, known for its stunning graphics and immersive gameplay, has received widespread acclaim, with GamesRadar+ lauding it as the series' best entry, awarding it a perfect five-star rating. The PC version is expected to maintain the same level of excellence, providing players with a seamless gaming experience.

The game will feature customizable ray-traced reflections and newly added ray-traced shadows, enhancing the natural lighting in outdoor areas. Moreover, it will support ultra-wide resolutions, catering to triple monitor setups with aspect ratios of 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9, ensuring an immersive and cinematic gameplay experience.

To further optimize performance, the PC version will offer unlocked frame rates and incorporate advanced upscaling technologies. Players will have the choice to utilize NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS, and Insomniac Games' Temporal Injection for enhanced visuals. Additionally, support for NVIDIA Reflex and NVIDIA DLAA will enhance image quality.

Input options are versatile, with support for mouse and keyboard as well as various controllers. Players using the DualSense controller on a wired connection can also expect to enjoy the haptic feedback features that the game has to offer.
