Experience Elden Ring in a New Light with Upcoming Animated Shorts

Exciting news for Elden Ring fans! Some of the game's most popular story moments are being transformed into animated shorts, creating a strong desire for a full-on adaptation.

Elden Ring is back in the spotlight, thanks to its upcoming DLC expansion, Shadow Of The Erdtree, launching next month for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC platforms. To celebrate the occasion, some of the base game's most memorable moments are being turned into a series of animated shorts, and the previews look incredibly promising.

Although FromSoftware is not involved in this project, the possibility of an official anime adaptation might become a reality if fans show enough support. The indie production group SteinsAlter is behind this exciting initiative. They recently tweeted a call for animators to join the project, showcasing some stunning examples of their work in progress.

A full Elden Ring anime might resemble the promotional trailer for Hades, with fluid movements and earth-shattering attacks that capture the essence of the game's intense gameplay.

SteinsAlter has commented on the project, saying, “This will be three minutes filled with cinematically composed sakuga that adapts and recreates moments from Elden Ring. We aim to release the best animation possible for us.” The shorts will feature some of the game’s most beloved characters and bosses, including the fan-favourite Maliketh.

While there is no set release window for the fully-realised shorts, fans hope they will coincide with the release of the Shadow Of The Erdtree expansion.

In other exciting news, details about Elden Ring’s highly anticipated DLC have leaked online. These leaks reveal the size of the new open world and the estimated time required to achieve 100% completion.
