Crash Team Rumble Racing Game to Release on June 20th, Closed Beta Announced for April

Activision and Toys For Bob have announced that Crash Team Rumble, a highly-anticipated racing game featuring beloved character Crash Bandicoot, will be released on June 20, 2023. In addition, a closed beta for the game will be held from April 20-24, 2023.

The companies released a new trailer for the game, revealing that fans can now pre-order Crash Team Rumble in order to participate in the closed beta. During the beta, players will have the opportunity to play as one of five different characters, each with their own unique powers, abilities, and special moves.

The game features three different maps, each with varying layouts, challenges, and Relic Stations that can unlock additional powers. Toys For Bob's co-studio head, Paul Yan, expressed excitement for fans to get an early hands-on experience with Crash Team Rumble during the closed beta. Yan also emphasized the importance of community feedback in improving the game for a better launch day experience.

Crash Team Rumble will be available on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, with the standard edition priced at $29.99 and the deluxe edition at $39.99. The standard edition includes post-launch seasonal content, limited-time modes, and the Season 1 Battle Pass, while the deluxe edition includes 23 Battle Tiers during Season 1, the Season 2 Premium Battle Pass, and the Proto Pack with various cosmetics and other items. The game will support cross-platform play.
