Sonic Frontiers Receives First Content Update: Sights, Sounds, and Speed

Sega has announced that Sonic Frontiers will receive its first content update called "Sights, Sounds, and Speed" on March 22 for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. The update will introduce new Challenge modes, a photo mode, and a Jukebox for players to enjoy.

Players will be able to access the new Challenge modes after completing the main story. The Cyber Space Challenge is a time trial mode where players race through multiple stages in a row. The Battle Rush mode is a timed battle mode where players fight several enemies and bosses in a row.

In addition to the new modes, Sonic Frontiers will also feature a photo mode where players can capture and edit screenshots of their Sonic adventures. The Jukebox will allow players to listen to 53 songs released through new Sound Memories collectibles scattered across the islands.

Sonic Frontiers has been a commercial success since its launch in November last year, with 2.5 million copies sold as of December 13. Sega has also revealed its 2023 content roadmap, which includes Update 2 to celebrate Sonic's birthday by adding an Open Zone Challenge and new Koco. The final update of 2023 will even add a new character and story content.
