XDefiant: Server Test Incoming! Get Ready to Join the Action

Ubisoft's XDefiant, the much-anticipated shooter game, might be making its debut sooner than expected. Fans could potentially get a taste of the action this weekend, albeit briefly, as the studio gears up for a new server test.

The game, which was originally slated for release by the end of March, has faced delays due to necessary improvements. Ubisoft has acknowledged that there are still some aspects of the game that need refining before it is ready for launch. As part of these preparations, the studio is planning a 12-hour stress test for the game's servers, inviting early access players to participate and help test the game's infrastructure.

Following the stress test, Ubisoft aims to finalise a public release date and begin discussions on post-launch content for XDefiant. The studio expressed gratitude to fans for their patience and support throughout the development process.

In a recent report by Insider Gaming, details emerged about the challenges faced during XDefiant's development. The report highlighted a group of executives and directors, dubbed "The Boys Club," who allegedly created obstacles for the game's development team.

Despite these hurdles, Ubisoft remains committed to delivering a polished and engaging experience with XDefiant. As fans eagerly await further updates, the prospect of getting a glimpse of the game this weekend offers a glimmer of hope that the wait may soon be over.
