Nacon Connect 2024: Terminator Open-World Survival Game Gets First Gameplay Showcase
Gaming publisher Nacon gears up for its annual Nacon Connect showcase, promising a first look at gameplay footage for their highly anticipated Terminator open-world survival game. The event, set for February 29th, will offer 30 minutes of fresh content across various titles, including GreedFall 2: The Dying World, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, Ravenswatch, Crown Wars: The Black Prince, and the much-awaited Terminator project.
Nacon first announced the untitled Terminator game in 2022, revealing it to be in development at Nacon Studio Milan. Set within the iconic Terminator universe, the game takes place during the bleak period between Judgment Day, the devastating nuclear attack launched by Skynet, and the rise of John Connor's resistance. Players assume the role of survivors, struggling for survival in a post-apocalyptic open world.
Drawing inspiration from the film franchise, the game boasts an original story interwoven with familiar events. The cinematic teaser trailer unveiled a chilling scene of a T-800 hunting a lone figure in a warehouse, accompanied by the classic Terminator theme music.
Nacon Connect 2024 also promises updates on other exciting titles. GreedFall 2: The Dying World, the follow-up to the Dragon Age-inspired RPG, is expected to launch this year on PC and consoles. Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, the next iteration in the racing franchise, is also slated for release in 2024.
Mark your calendars for February 29th and tune in to Nacon Connect for a glimpse into the future of these highly anticipated games, including the first gameplay reveal of the Terminator open-world survival title.
