Top 5 Of The Biggest Games Coming Out Before 2023

5 - Skull & Bones

Skull & Bones

A new only open-world pirate game by Ubisoft, a realistic take on pirate battles on the high seas. Promising a solo campaign as you fight for control over the 18th-century waters.

Starting with a paddle boat you can upgrade your ship with bigger sails for speed, more fire power to conquer others in a good old sea skirmish, increase storage capacity to gather or transport more loot and before long you will be an unstoppable force.

If you do perish then it does set you back in terms of resources, which if you are quick you can retrieve from your wreckage before other players do that is. You can also gain resources by completing missions and defeating enemy pirates. Set for release on November 8th on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Stadia.

4 - A Plague Tale: Requiem

A Plague Tale: Requiem

An upcoming action-adventure stealth video game developed by Asobo Studio and the surprise sequel to the original from 2019.

You'll be following the same two heroes and siblings Amicia and Hugo de Rune who must look for a cure to Hugo's blood disease in Southern France while fleeing from soldiers of the Inquisition. They will have to do whatever it takes to survive in the game's brutal world full of a literal sea of rats and the black plague spread by the rats.

3 - High On Life

High On Life

An upcoming comedic biopunk first-person shooter by Squanch Games from Rick and Morty and Solar Opposites creator Justin Roiland. It takes place in a colourful, absurdist science fiction world and features anthropomorphic talking guns.

You take on the role of a high school graduate, voiced by Justin Roiland in his Morty voice (From Rick & Morty), turned intergalactic bounty hunter who takes on an alien cartel who are trying to sell humans as drugs to other aliens

It is scheduled to be released on December 13, 2022, for Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S and will be on Xbox Game Pass on release date as well.

2 - Call Of Duty MW2

COD MW2

After 13 years MW2 is back, this is also a direct sequel to the 2019 reboot Modern Warfare! With several massive changes to the Call of Duty gameplay across the board such as advanced AI system in the campaign and co-op modes, water physics, and swimming mechanics, as well as an overhauled vehicle system.

New gameplay features and movement tactics include dive to prone, mantle, and ledge hang along with the removal of slide cancelling. New vehicle gameplay features include leaning out of vehicle windows, mantling onto a vehicle roof, and hijacking.

Probably COD’s most anticipated release for years and all we can hope for is it will be at least as good as the original. Yes I'm talking about a 25 kill streak nuke to end a game. It is scheduled to be released on October 28, 2022, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

1 - God Of War: Ragnarok

God Of War: Ragnarok

It broke the internet with its gameplay trailer, the game is loosely based on Norse mythology, the game will be set in ancient Scandinavia and feature series protagonist Kratos and a much bigger Atreus facing family strife.

Serving as the finale to the Norse era of the series, the game will cover Ragnarök, a series of events that bring about the end of days, and depicts the deaths of some of the Norse gods. They will take on Freya, Thor, and the impending Ragnarok.

The previous god of war won game of the year so expectations for this one are high! It is scheduled to be released worldwide on November 9, 2022, for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PlayStation 5 (PS5). No mention of a PC version yet!
