Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League faces another delay
Warner Bros. has delayed the release of Rocksteady's highly anticipated game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. According to Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, the game will not be released on its scheduled date of May 26. The delay is likely for further polishing of the game, rather than making changes based on criticisms of the gameplay revealed during Sony's State of Play presentation.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a live-service game set in Rocksteady's Arkhamverse. It features members of the Suicide Squad taking on possessed members of the Justice League, including Flash, Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and Kevin Conroy's Batman. The game offers a battle pass, an RPG-style gear system, and a required online connection.
This isn't the first delay that the game has faced. It was initially set to release in 2022 but was pushed back to Spring 2023. A new release date has not yet been announced, leaving fans eagerly waiting for the chance to experience this unique take on the DC universe.
In response to the news, IGN reached out to Warner Bros. for comment, but there has been no statement from the company yet. Despite the delay, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League remains one of the most highly anticipated games of the year.
