Black Ops 6 Drops Three New Maps for Season 01 on Game Pass – Here's What’s Coming

Activision has officially unveiled three fresh multiplayer maps for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, launching with the game’s first seasonal content update on November 14. This marks a significant addition to the game’s map lineup, with Black Ops 6 Season 01 introducing the maps Extraction, Heirloom, and Hideout. Each designed for dynamic multiplayer action and various play styles.

With Nuketown already reintroduced for Black Ops fans, these new maps diversify the lineup for this season, and there could be more to come. In a teaser video, Activision hinted that these three maps represent just "a few of the new maps" coming in Season 01, suggesting additional updates later in the season, potentially around Season 01 Reloaded.

Each of the three maps brings a unique setting and format:

  • Hideout: This 6v6 map is likely to feature close-quarters combat, favouring players who thrive in intense, quick-reflex encounters.

  • Extraction: Another 6v6 map, it’s expected to have tactical environments that encourage both mid- and long-range combat.

  • Heirloom: This versatile map supports both 6v6 and 2v2 matches, providing flexibility for different multiplayer setups.

In addition to new maps, Season 01 promises to bring new weapons and additional content for players to explore. With Black Ops 6 included in Xbox Game Pass, these updates are available at no additional charge, though players can still access a range of paid cosmetics to customise their experience.

As the Call of Duty team continues to roll out seasonal updates, players can look forward to expanding gameplay and new strategies with each addition. Season 01 is shaping up to be a dynamic start to the Black Ops 6 roadmap.
