Dream Cage: Sleep Paralysis Horror Game Brings Terrifying Realism to PC

The horror genre is about to get a chilling new entry with Dream Cage, a PC-exclusive horror game inspired by the unsettling tone of the V/H/S films. This psychological thriller casts players as Robert, a 50-year-old insomniac battling the terrifying phenomena of sleep paralysis across five nerve-wracking nights.

Dream Cage’s unique hook lies in its commitment to realism, players will encounter over 25 “sleep anomalies” derived from real accounts shared by sleep paralysis sufferers. Adding to the terror are five distinct demons haunting Robert’s nights, each with their own horrifying traits.

A New Level of Immersion

Dream Cage’s developers are introducing an intriguing gameplay mechanic: the use of your PC’s microphone. Although the specific details remain under wraps, players are warned to remain completely silent during gameplay. A single scream or even the faintest sound could spell disaster.

With its promise of random hauntings, memory lapses that disrupt gameplay, and the need to locate pills to maintain focus, the game is designed to keep players on edge. To make matters more unsettling, Dream Cage offers three distinct endings, only one of which will reveal the truth behind Robert's condition.

Release Details

Dream Cage does not yet have a confirmed release date, but horror fans are already buzzing about its potential to redefine psychological horror gaming. Will you brave the nightmares and uncover the source of Robert’s torment, or will the demons claim you before dawn?
