Official Release Date Announced for World of Warcraft Dragonflight
Blizzard has finally announced the official release date of the new upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, Dragonflight, which is coming on November 28, 2022.
World of Warcraft has been a giant in the MMORPG genre since 2004 and Dragonflight will be it’s 9th expansion. In Dragonflight, players will be traveling to the new zone called the Dragon Isles, to assist the Dragonflight in defending their ancestral home.
Surging with elemental magic and the life energies of Azeroth, the Isles are awakening once more, and players need to explore their primordial wonder and discover long-forgotten secrets.
Dragonflight also adds the Dracthyr Evoker, a brand-new class and the first to combine playable races with a class. The Dracthyr Evoker is a hybrid role that mixes support with ranged attacks.
Data miners have also found evidence to suggest that Dragonflight will be providing official controller support for Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch Pro controllers. With Microsoft now owning Blizzard, maybe we could see World of Warcraft come to Xbox in the future.
